THE DEFINITION OF GRIEF & LOSS

Many times death is the first thought when thinking about Grieving. There are 2.6 million deaths each year in the United States which makes death a large source of grief & loss that touches many lives in some sort of way.

However, grief & loss are not only limited to the death of a loved one. Grief can come into play due to a broken relationship, getting fired or loss of employment, the loss of a pet, or a disabling injury or disease.
